Closing $25K Deals Without a Sales Team

By Priya R.

We spent two years selling four-hundred-dollar products to thousands of customers. Then we spent six months selling four-thousand-dollar products to dozens. The second business made more money, served customers better, and was dramatically less stressful to run.

The framework that got us there was four messages, in this order: qualify, diagnose, prescribe, transact.

Qualify ruthlessly. If they're not a fit, say so in the first reply. You're not trying to maximize conversion — you're trying to maximize fit.

Diagnose before you prescribe. Ask the question that surfaces the real problem, not the surface request. Most prospects don't actually know what they need; your job is to help them find out.

Prescribe with confidence. Once you understand the problem, recommend the specific path. If it's not your product, say that too. The trust you earn from doing this once will close five future deals.

Transact without ceremony. Send the link, send the contract, set the kickoff. Don't get cute. The harder you make it to buy, the less they will.

We close roughly 60% of qualified conversations with this framework. That's not a sales skill — it's a filtering skill.
