Position sizing is the math that decides whether you survive long enough to get good. Get it right and a 40% win rate makes you money. Get it wrong and an 80% win rate blows up your account.
The rule is one number: how much of your account are you willing to lose on this trade if you're completely wrong? For most operators, that number sits between 0.5% and 2%.
